1、General
Ø GLD leakage test facility for gas meter（G1.6~G4.0）is a new generation automatic and efficient test facility developed on the principle of pressure differential method according to
test regulation for diaphragm gas meter JJG577-2012（regulation）
Ø The system is mainly composed of five parts, i.e. gas source treatment system, precision pressure reduce system, pipeline valve system, pneumatic meter clamp device and micro differential pressure sensors. It is especially used leakage test of domestic diaphragm gas meter, compared with traditional water test method, air bubble method and standard tank method, it has following advantages:
1、 Suitable for different kind of domestic diaphragm gas meter from G1.6~G4.0. press “start”, it will check the leakage of the complete meter, test time can be set freely as required.
2、 The whole test procedure is fulfilled by the program set by single chip automatically. Indicator light display test result after finish, green indicates pass, red light fail.
3、 Meters under test will keep constant temperature simultaneously and test simultaneously, judge the leakage situation according to the best one in the lot. Compared with traditional method, relying on one standard tank as benchmark, all meter under test compared with it by pressure difference, this method better overcoming the influence of temperature on test result.
4、 Adopt single chip microcomputer, high-accuracy A/D conversion and precision micro-differential pressure sensor technology, real-time display pressure difference or
leakage valve on each meter and can also display internal pressure of the meters. Test result is intuitive, accurate and reliable.
5、 The whole system adopts pneumatic valve and magnetic valve from Japan (SMC), rigorous process ensures high tightness of the system itself thus ensures test accuracy.
6、 Several meters can be tested simultaneously(determined by positions), test parameter like air charge pressure, dry running time, pressure apply time, balance, test time, air exhaust time, acceptable range etc can be set and store in the system through precision regulator or operation panel, it has also power failure protection function.

When start test，often air inlet valve and balance valve，close outlet valve，air source will be charged into gas meter after filtering and precision pressure reduction，after certain time，pressure in pipeline and each meter reach preset pressure value. At this time, inlet valve, balance valve and outlet valve all be closed, the whole system is under stable pressure, balance staus. After balance, system will automatically take pressure difference value of each meter during balance period to zero. Then system enter into test period, it judges leakage performance of each meter according pressure variation tested by micro pressure differential transducer, finally the test result are displayed by LED and signal indicator. The whole test procedure is controlled by on key, automatic test by single chip according to preset parameters, thus reduces test result affected by artificial interference.
