Product introduction

We developed prepayment system on our common gas meters to solve payment default issues that bothered Gas Company for quite a long time. It is low-cost, stable and convenient for installation. It is a good solution of excellent cost performance.  

Composition of prepayment system  

The prepayment system consists of Magnetic Stripe Card, POS handset and other standard media products which enable the data of gas consumption be connected to the bank network so as to charge the gas fee any time and make pre-paid function available.    

Implementation  

Gas Company will issue Magnetic Stripe Card to every user. Each card will store the basic information of end users. The end users can deposit cash in advance for the gas consumption. The gas company workers will come to the houses of the end users and get gas consumption data with a handset machine which will transfer the data immediately to the data collection center through GPRS. The gas fee will deducted from the users' account directly. Meantime the payment invoice can be printed on the handset machine for users' reference. This system makes the gas data more accurate and avoids loss caused by payment defaults for the gas company.
